Hello sailors!

We would like to share our great experiences in our sailing trips around the bay, we hope you enjoy them, have a great sailing day!.

What a trip!, an island I always wanted to go…

We had the opportunity to take this family to Soldier Key, Justin used to live on this Island until he was 10 years old, his father said it was the best time of his life, living on an island with his best friends and son. The Island was destroyed after Hurricane Andrew, there is only mangroves, it used to be lots of pine trees, trails, a beautiful lawn and a nice pier with a platform at the end. Getting to the Island is tricky and risky, there is only one path and sand bars have moved, they don’t show in the charts, if you run aground you must wait for the next tide or be prepared to pay huge fines, so this is a trip for overnight.DSC_4349 DSCN2281 DSCN2283 DSCN2288 DSCN2291 DSCN2269 DSCN2262 DSC_5073

Visiting from Dominican Republic

Definitely, sailing on Biscayne Bay is a very pleasurable time, people really enjoy the time in the water going at ONLY 5 knots, very relaxing and safe ride, listening to the wind through the sails and the sound of the waves hitting the hull, you can tell by the pictures.DSC_2987 DSC_2904 DSC_2905 DSC_2933
